About This Blog

From the Cradle of Wine is a soft-power blog that began as a project for a Public Diplomacy class at the Institute of World Politics. This blog aims at raising the profile of Georgia in the minds of the European and American publics through interest in Georgia's wines and culture. By extension it seeks to conveying an inclusive image of Georgia as an ordinary part of Europe. From the Cradle of Wine links to a variety of other online resources and encourages readers to encounter the Georgian people through wine, food, travel and study. Comments, suggestions and corrections are always welcome. The material on this blog is released to GNU Free Documentation License and may be used in such public spaces as Wikipedia, without copyright violation. Just throw in a link so folks know where it came from.
